When the carbonator doesn't get enough water, the brass pump tends to overheat, which will cause the vented check valve, above it, to blow out water through the vented port.
By installing this double ball check valve conversion kit, you are able to eliminate the existing vented check valve totally. Also eliminating the fear of future floods.
